Here are some random photos of Singapore we have taken over the last few years. We really need to get out with the camera more as we don't really have enough of a selection.
Marina Bay and Kallang river area. The Singapore flyer on the left, Marina Bay Sands in the middle and the Central Business District on the right
We have lived here for a little while now and neither of us have ever seen a cow on the island, let alone in the CBD. If you were taking your cow for a walk though, it wouldn't be too much hassle as there is a bridge less than 100m to the right which does allow cows and horses!
Old Hill Street Police Station building. It originally housed the first jail in Singapore, now houses lots of art for sale.
Another one
A slightly unusual view of the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple in Chinatown
Incense burning at the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple
He's just kicking back and chilling, shoes off and watching the lanterns blow in the wind!
It was a little chilly this day, about 30 degrees I think, so they needed a fire to keep warm. They were just about to break out the chili and jacket spuds, hot chocolate and marshmallows!
Old colourful shop houses in Chinatown
Knockers on the doors to the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple. The doors are copies from the massive ones on the Forbidden City in Beijing
The one way bridge in the middle of the tree top walk at MacRitchie Reservoir. One way wouldn't normally be a problem but this is in the middle of a 6km round trip!
Gardens by the Bay
One of the massive conservatories at Gardens by the Bay. Like the Eden Project but rather than heating to make them tropical, they cool them to make then alpine.
Marina Bay Sands
Fountains on Sentosa Island. Look similar to Gaudi's Parc Guell in Barcelona but nowhere near as impressive
We took this while on the Singapore Flyer during the 2009 Grand Prix. Hamilton won if you were interested
Taken in the Botanic Gardens. Not sure where this lady was going but she was lucky she didn't take off!
Taken at the lotus flower museum during the 100th anniversary exhibition of Titanic Leaving port.
A random lamp post, but I like the sky
